How does blocking work?

Unloop uses Apple's Screen Time. You grant permission once, then pick the apps you want blocked. During a focus session, scheduled hours, or strict lock, those apps are shielded on your device.

I picked apps but nothing gets blocked.

Make sure you granted Screen Time permission (the app will prompt you, or reconnect from the welcome-back screen). App choices are stored only on the current device, so after a reinstall or on a new device you'll be asked to reconnect Screen Time and re-pick your apps.

What is the 90-second pause?

When you open a blocked app, Unloop shows a 90-second pause first. Cravings crest and fade in about that time — the pause gives the urge room to pass before you scroll.

What is strict lock?

Strict lock keeps the plan from being undone on impulse (it also prevents deleting the app mid-plan). iOS always lets you revoke Screen Time permission in the system Settings — Unloop never hides that.
