Almost finished.
The sentence gets difficult. Your hand reaches for the easier ending.
PRIVATE iPHONE BETA · BUILT FOR THE REFLEX OPEN
YOUR LIFE IS STILL HAPPENING.
The reflex open is an unwanted cut: one moment you are here, the next you are inside a feed you never chose. Unloop puts a default 90-second Pause before selected apps, so the Urge can pass—and you can choose what happens next.
ACT I · THE UNWANTED CUT
The sentence gets difficult. Your hand reaches for the easier ending.
Someone keeps talking while a different world opens in your palm.
Bedtime moves a little further away, one small open at a time.
THE CUT CAN FEEL INSTANTANEOUS
Unloop calls the trained sequence a Loop: Cue → Urge → Scroll → Relief. Repeated enough, the ending can arrive before you remember choosing it.
“The feed will still be there.
This scene won’t.”

ACT II · HOLD THE FRAME
When Unloop’s Shield covers an app you chose, the reflex meets Unloop first. Start the default 90-second Pause and let the Urge move through its whole shape before deciding.
You waited through the Pause. The selected app stays closed.
You opened anyway. It becomes data.
One is a win. The other is a data point. Neither is a verdict.

ACT III · CHANGE THE ENDING
An Outlasted Urge is one less repetition of the Loop. Repeated over time, Habit Strength can move down—and the reflex has less of your day to finish for you.

ACT IV · FILE THE DECISION
In the Consent Form, you choose your Pause, Blocked Hours, and protection tier while you can still hear yourself think. When the next Urge arrives, your earlier decision is already in the room.
A plan is not a punishment.
It is your earlier decision, still present later.
ACT V · THE LONG VIEW
The Lab keeps the record. Progress shows each Loop’s Decay Curve alongside Days On Track, Urges Outlasted, and estimated time reclaimed. As Outlasted Urges stop repeating the old ending, Habit Strength can move down.
LOWER IS BETTER.
ACT VI · THE LONG TAKE
EPILOGUE · EXIT THE LOOP
Unloop is not trying to make you better at managing a fence forever. It is designed around a defined protocol ending: a lower Habit Strength score and a Loop that can Graduate. Whether the reflex gets quieter is what the private beta is here to learn.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Not yet. Unloop is an iPhone experiment in active development. Request early access and we’ll email when a private beta place opens.
That is what the private beta is built to test on real iPhones. Unloop uses Apple’s Screen Time system to Shield only the apps, categories, or websites you choose.
You choose the rules. Open uses Pauses only. Standard adds Blocked Hours with two-minute exits. Strict has no exits and takes 24 hours—or a Buddy’s key—to unlock.
Ninety seconds is the default. In My Plan, it can be set from 30 to 180 seconds.
Unloop records its own event log: the time, the Loop, whether the Urge was Outlasted or Fired, and how long you held. Apple Screen Time usage itself is never collected. App event and plan data may sync for backup and is not used for tracking.
Not in this experiment. The private beta is for iPhone.
FINAL FRAME · PRIVATE iPHONE BETA
Unloop is still an experiment. The private beta will test whether a well-timed Pause can make the reflex weaker in real life.
